NuWu Sessions: Jonny Parsons, Sasha Palatnikov, Daniel Rodriguez of UFC

Recent winner in Dana White’s UFC 2021 Contender Series and celebrating an impressive four win streak, Jonny Parsons ranks the great celebrity mullets, discusses the origins of his nickname ‘The Paradox’, talks about his recovery from a broken foot, and details some of his experiences spending four months in Thailand.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Sasha Palatnikov discusses playing sports his entire life from college football at the University of Buffalo, to playing professional rugby in Russia, to a career in America competing as an MMA fighter. Palatnikov is one of the first professional athletes to be sponsored by a cannabis brand, local company City Trees, paving the way for more acceptance of marijuana within professional athleticism.

With an impressive 16-2 fight history, Daniel Rodriguez has been on all MMA fans eyes as a strong contender, hailing from East Los Angeles. Rodriguez details growing up in East LA and his pride for the city, and how he’s been dealing with his most recent injury - tearing ligaments in his knuckles, prompting a medical operation and a 2-3 month post recovery time.
